Alex Malley – My Top 10 Apps

 
Alex Malley is the Chief Executive of CPA Australia.
He hosts the nationally televised series The Bottom Line, fronts the online reality series The Naked CEO and is a regular commentator on radio, Sky News and The Huffington Post.
The Accountant acknowledged him as one of only two Australians on the top 50 list of the most influential people in the profession globally.

You’d expect me to say this, given that CPA Australia developed this app. However, it is absolutely my favourite app right now – a seriously addictive way to build a business empire from the comfort of your lounge.

The AFR is Australia’s premiere business newspaper and the app is a great way for me to keep in touch, wherever I am, with what’s happening in politics, business and society in Australia and around the world.

LinkedIn    LinkedIn:    This is a great way for me to catch up with news from around the globe and follow the conversation among our big online communities.

It’s a great, user friendly app covering a great mix of news, national affairs, thought provoking opinion, with a bit of sport on the side.

NRL Live    NRL Live:    I love football and the National Rugby League app means I can check the scores and keep track of what’s happening to my beloved South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Twitter 25    Twitter:    There’s no better way to take the pulse on an issues to see what’s trending on Twitter. It’s also a great way to engage directly with people whom you might otherwise never get the chance.

Weather+    Weather+:    I travel a lot, which means I spend a lot of time packing and repacking suitcases. Being able to check in on what’s happening in the weather anywhere in the world means I can pack right and know what to expect when I get there.

HuffPost    HuffPost:    I write a regular blog for the Huffington Post and really enjoy the diversity of news coverage and opinion. We need more independent journalism like this.

This app gives me a quick snap shot of what’s happening in the news in Australia, wherever I am in the world. I host a show called The Bottom Line on the Nine Network in Australia where I interview iconic leaders from all walks of life

Skype    Skype:    Being away from home can be tough. Skype is a fantastic way for me to check in at home, connect with family and friends and see what’s happening.
